Our guides are great at tailoring your snowmobile tour to you, your family and friends!

Our Family Fun Tours are just that: fun!  Haven’t ever ridden a snowmobile before? No problem. Our guides take the time to instruct you on the safe handling of a snowmobile. You’d be surprised how easy it really is!

We start the tours on flat terrain, exploring never ending mountain forests and snow meadows, while giving everyone a chance to get a feel for the snowmobiles. From here at anytime we can head up to alpine heights on the top of the world!  Regardless of where you are, photographic views abound-and our guides are great at helping you get the perfect picture for your family album.  It's great to know that at the end of the trip back at the outfitter's tent we have hot chocolate with marshmallows or coffee waiting for you.

Everyone from the kids to the grandparents will have a blast exploring and learning about the San Juan Mountains with Ice Pirates!

Ice Pirates Adventure Tours are out of this world! Starting out at over 10,000 ft above sea level, and continuing up to heights above 12,000 ft, we can show you the true meaning of high-alpine mountain adventure! Flying over snow far above treeline is like nothing else!

We specialize in custom tours for small groups. So if you and your buddies want to see the high-country in all of it’s alpine glory, Ice Pirates can get you there.  Single riders only for the Adventure Tours.

The Full Day Tours are a great way to spend your day in the San Juan National Forest.  We explore as much terrain as possible before lunch time when we head back to camp for hot, delicious soup or stew and grilled sandwiches.  After we've had our fill, we hop back onto our snowmobiles and rally around the mountains making sure we leave no stone unturned! 

It's a rewarding day for anyone who wants as much snowmobiling as they can possibly have in a single day.  Ice Pirates requires a minimum of four sleds for a full day tour.  Please indicate any special dietary needs at the time you make your reservation.

*we reserve the right to alter tours based on weather and terrain conditions.  for the holiday seasons of 12-20 thru 1-10, 3/10-3-25 and other specific dates, we require 5 days' notice to cancel a trip without penalty.  within 5 days it is 50% and the day of is 100% charge.  if Ice Pirates determines the road and weather conditions are not advisable, Ice Pirates will call guests to cancel at no charge to the guests and try to reschedule the tour.  for more details on our cancellation policy, please ask at the time you make your reservation over the phone.
